The League of Women Voters will be producing Voter Guides and virtual candidate forums to assist our citizens in making informed decisions on the upcoming local election on May 1.

 

Here’s how you can help! What do you see as pressing issues for the city of Richardson and the RISD? Think about questions that you would like to see the candidates address.

RISD BOND PACKAGE

We are also working on a Pro/Con Voter Guide for the RISD bond package, presenting arguments both for and against the bond.  We welcome your suggestions for the wording of this Voter Guide. There are two propositions. One proposition for $694 million is capital construction, infrastructure, repairs, safety and security, and equipment. The second proposition for $56 million targets student and staff technology. More details are here.
